Meet Stacey from Positive Vibes and Well-being
I’m so excited to be sharing my first guest post with you! This uplifting interview comes from Stacey Suter who runs Positive Vibes & Well-being. Her mission is to help people to create a more positive life.
What is Positive Vibes & Well-being all about?
Positive Vibes & Well-being is the work I am rather passionate about, it’s my way of serving and helping those who need the information I provide. It all started when my Mum had a mental breakdown and got diagnosed with bipolar. We attended mental health workshops where they helped teach those who suffer with poor mental health four simple coping tools and it lead me on to my path of wanting to help people with their mental health, by offering my services, wisdom and affirmation cards. It’s what I love to do, create and serve people in need of a little nudge.
During your life, have you ever felt like you didn’t fit in?
Oh gosh yes, in high school, in jobs, at social events. I’ve always felt a sense of being the weird one, or the ditsy and dull one. I’ve always felt like I’m not intelligent enough and felt that I shouldn’t be doing what I’m doing. I guess it’s all down to self confidence. But I’m doing my best to turn that way of thinking around for the better.
“Shine your light and don’t dim just to fit in.”
What did you do to embrace your differences?
Tell myself to think positively, and that I am unique. Just be myself. I’ve used affirmations as tools and have used my writing and creativity as a way of expressing what’s on my heart and who I am.
What’s your top tip to help someone on the road to embracing who they are?
#YouGottaBePositive! Turn negative thinking around to something more positive. Do things that bring you joy and make your heart happy. The people who are meant to be in your life will stay and those who aren’t meant to be on your path, will leave, and that’s OK. Shine your light and don’t dim to fit in. Be your unique, authentic self and you will attract what is meant for you.
